a little about benita

Benita Blundell

Benita Blundell was born Benita Mary Considine and raised in the rural town of Maple Bay, British Columbia.
With the influence of her grandmother, Benita started drawing at an early age. She quickly found her love of expression through painting and enrolled in the Vancouver School of Art as a foundation for her artistic growth. Since then, Benita has studied and practiced primarily watercolour painting, thus
keeping up with her passion for expression.
Benita travelled extensively in Canada, Asia, Europe and South America, painting images that symbolize some of life’s subtle gifts we all recognize from time to time.
Benita's work has been shown in the Broadmead Gallery and the Sooke Fine Art Show.
